Ferooze Ali served as a contractual Assistant Secretary for the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs between 2009-2012. His first Desk was at the Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam desk (CLMV). In 2010, he moved to the Middle East Peace Process Department up until 2012 – where his tenure with the Malaysian Government ended.
From June 2012 – August 2015, Ferooze provided advice to the British High Commission, Kuala Lumpur on Governmental Affairs as the Government Liaison. He played varied roles, pertinently in navigating through the Malaysian Bureaucratic system. He lobbied important calls for British Ministers and Officials during their visit to Malaysia.
He was at the Strategic and International Affairs Division for Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC) as the Principal Assistant Director between September 2015 and March 2016.
Ferooze completed his Bachelor of Commerce (International Business) from the University of Tasmania, Australia. He holds an MA International and Diplomacy Studies from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He is currently completing a doctoral thesis in International Relations with Universiti Sains Malaysia.
